Lire l&rsquo;article complet du m\u00e9dia Suisse <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lematin.ch\/story\/cyclisme-simon-pellaud-est-ecoeure-je-tire-un-trait-sur-le-world-tour-103227338\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Le Matin<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une s\u00e9paration douloureuse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019automne a \u00e9t\u00e9 rude pour <strong>Simon Pellaud<\/strong>, non conserv\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9quipe de <strong>Fabian Cancellara<\/strong> malgr\u00e9 deux saisons marqu\u00e9es par son implication et une victoire au <strong>Tour de Bretagne<\/strong>. \u00ab\u00a0<em>Je ne m\u2019y attendais pas. \u00c7a m\u2019a fait mal, mais en m\u00eame temps, je me sens lib\u00e9r\u00e9 d\u2019un poids<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, confie-t-il. Pour Pellaud, le virage pris par Tudor avec les arriv\u00e9es de <strong>Marc Hirschi<\/strong> et <strong>Julian Alaphilippe<\/strong> a scell\u00e9 son sort. \u00ab\u00a0<em>J\u2019ai compris que le projet changeait de dimension. Il fallait faire de la place pour les grands<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, explique-t-il avec une pointe d\u2019amertume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un cyclisme devenu extr\u00eame<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, le Valaisan ne se voit plus \u00e9voluer au plus haut niveau : \u00ab\u00a0<em>Le <strong>World Tour<\/strong> ne me fait plus r\u00eaver. Le niveau est devenu d\u00e9mesur\u00e9 : le rythme, les risques, les exigences\u2026 C\u2019est de la folie. Il n\u2019y a plus de place pour autre chose que le v\u00e9lo. Je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re descendre d\u2019un niveau et rester comp\u00e9titif<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb Ce constat s\u00e9v\u00e8re illustre son rejet d\u2019un sport qu\u2019il estime d\u00e9shumanis\u00e9 et \u00e9touffant pour les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. \u00ab\u00a0<em>Ils n\u2019ont plus de vie<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, tranche-t-il, pr\u00e9f\u00e9rant retrouver un \u00e9quilibre entre performance et passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un avenir entre gravel et reconversion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Baroudeur dans l\u2019\u00e2me, <strong>Pellaud<\/strong> veut d\u00e9sormais s\u2019orienter vers des courses moins \u00e9litistes, avec un attrait croissant pour le <strong>gravel<\/strong> : \u00ab\u00a0<em>J\u2019aime l\u2019id\u00e9e de sortir du trafic et m\u2019aventurer sur des chemins sauvages<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb En parall\u00e8le, il pr\u00e9pare un projet de <strong>tours \u00e0 v\u00e9lo en Colombie<\/strong>, o\u00f9 il r\u00e9side une partie de l\u2019ann\u00e9e : \u00ab\u00a0<em>C\u2019est une transition vers ma reconversion, alliant ma passion pour le v\u00e9lo et la d\u00e9couverte de ce magnifique pays<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 la d\u00e9ception de sa fin d\u2019aventure chez Tudor, <strong>Simon Pellaud<\/strong> garde intacte sa flamme pour l\u2019\u00e9chapp\u00e9e : \u00ab\u00a0J<em>e suis encore dans mon \u00e2ge d\u2019or.
