Le coureur belge, champion d’Europe de la discipline, a devancé de plus de 30 secondes au terme des 15 kilomètres Filippo Ganna (Italie) et Oscar Sevilla (Team Medellin). Le nouveau leader de la formation Deceuninck – Quick Step a également pris la tête du classement général.
