Une nouvelle fois les Team Jumbo Vismo ont écrasé l’étape. A l’occasion de la 4e étape de Paris-Nice, courue sous forme d’un contre-la-montre individuel, l’équipe néerlandaise a pris les trois premières places de l’étape, comme à Mantes la Ville. Wout van Aert a été le plus fort, terminant premier, tandis que Primos Roglic et Rohan Dennis ont pris les 2e et 3e places de l’étape. Christophe Laporte a perdu son maillot mais termine à une très belle 11e place. Wout van Aert est le nouveau leader de la Course au soleil.

VAN AERT a gagné , deuxième ROGLIC , les Jumbo rayonnants , comme prévu diront certains.YATES. S , 5ème a fait une belle course , attention à lui dans les étapes de montagne . LATOUR 7ème , c ‘est bien défendu , deux coureurs qui resteront donc dangereux pour les Jumbo . QUINTANA a un peu déçu , il perd une grosse minute et cela qui risque de peser lourd à la fin . LAPORTE a perdu son maillot mais il l’a bien défendu . Demain est une autre jour , donc attendons les étapes accidentées et les températures hivernales risquent de nous rebattre quelques cartes .
Nouveau tiercé gagnant pour les Jumbo ! Pour Vincennes ou Longchamp, casaques jaunes et noires fortement recommandées !… Par rapport au premier tiercé, il suffisait de sortir Laporte et mettre Dennis… De Nice, et de son arrivée finale, le suspense peut continuer à durer… Car ils sont peut-être désormais deux, Roglic, mais aussi Van Aert, à pouvoir y penser pour eux-mêmes… Avec ses places aux étapes dans des conditions très différentes, 3é, puis second, puis 3é, puis 1er, Van Aert domine l’épreuve… La montagne pourrait-t-elle être pour lui un dernier objectif personnel ou non, ce sera à voir dans les derniers épisodes… A priori non, si l’on s’en tient à la première étape, où le champion belge pousse Roglic pour les bonifications de la seconde place.
