Et dans un sprint en comité réduit, c’est Florian Sénéchal (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) qui s’est avéré être le plus fort. Le sprint du peloton a été remporté par Arnaud Démare (Groupama-FDJ), 6e, grandissime favori du jour. Sénéchal succède au palmarès à son coéquipier Rémi Cavagna, 33e, tandis que Julian Alaphilippe a pris la 13e place.
