La 61e édition du Grand Prix de Wallonie (1.Pro) a été remportée mercredi par le Français Christophe Laporte, à la Citadelle de Namur, après 208 kilomètres de course. Le coureur de l’équipe Cofidis s’est imposé au sprint devant son compatriote Warren Barguil (Arkea-Samsic) et le Belge Tosh Van der Sande (Lotto Soudal). Le coureur âgé de 28 ans succède au palmarès du Grand Prix de Wallonie à Krists Neilands, vainqueur en 2019. Pour rappel, en raison de la pandémie de COVID-19 la course n’avait pas en lieu en 2020. Laporte signe ici son quatrième succès de la saison et le 21e de sa carrière.
