Arrivée mouvementée ce mercredi à l’occasion de la 2e étape du Tour de Langkawi. Déclassé en raison d’une action dangereuse lors de l’emballage final, le Colombien Juan Sebastian Molano (UAE Team Emirates) a perdu la victoire d’étape au profit de l’Australien Craig Wiggins (ARA Pro Racing Sunshine Coast). Wiggins se rappellera de toute évidence dans quelle circonstance il a obtenu à 23 ans son premier succès professionnel. Au classement général, fort de sa place de second, c’est logiquement Gelb Syritsa (Astana Qazaqstan) qui a conservé le maillot de leader.
