En terminant 2e de la 7e étape du Critérium du Dauphiné remportée par Carlos Verona (Movistar), et avec les défaillances de ses adversaires, Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) a endossé le maillot jaune de leader au classement général à Vaujany. Le coureur Slovène a pris la tunique de leader des épaules de son coéquipier Wout van Aert qui s’est bien battu, jusqu’à céder dans les tout derniers hectomètres du col de La Croix de Fer. Primoz Roglic s’élancera vêtu du maillot jaune dimanche, à l’occasion de la 8e et dernière étape de cette course préparatoire au Tour de France.

  1. David GAUDU 6eme à 1’40 » de ROGLIC, mais seulement à 17″ du podium. La dernière étape est digne d’intérêt pour la lutte de la 3eme place, les deux premières étant acquises, sauf incident.

  2. Belle étape , et beau vainqueur qui gagne son premier bouquet chez les grands . Roglic assoit sa supériorité mais il n’est pas au top , il me semble qu’il court à l’économie ( il a peut être raison ) . A t il un doute ? . Van Aert a fini son Dauphiné mais à mon avis c ‘est normal . Le Tour est dans 20 jours . Un peu déçu de Gaudu je pensais qu’il aurait pu suivre Roglic dans le final , surement dans le dur comme on a pu le voir . Mais là aussi cette course est une préparation pour le tour et on planifie sa condition pour le mois de juillet . Chacun fait comme il l’entend ou qu’il le souhaite .
