Au sprint, le Colombien a devancé Mads Perdersen (Trek-Segafredo) et Pascal Ackermann (UAE). Remco Evenepoel, le vainqueur de ce 77e Tour d’Espagne a passé la ligne d’arrivée en 40e position classé à 11 secondes du temps du vainqueur.
