Deux jours après le GP de Québec remporté par Benoît Cosnefroy (Ag2r Citroën) se disputait le Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal (UCI World Tour). Et au terme de 18 tours d’un circuit urbain long de 12,3 kilomètres, chacun ponctué de la Côte de Camilien-Houde, c’est Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) qui l’a emporté. Le Slovène s’impose devant Wout van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) et Andrea Bagioli (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) respectivement classés 2e et 3e. David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ) a pris la 5e place.
