Retrouvez le classement complet de la 17e étape de la Vuelta 2020 remportée samedi, en solitaire, par le Français David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ). Au sommet de l’Alto de la Covatilla, le coureur français âgé de 24 ans a devancé le Suisse Gino Mader (NTT Pro Cycling) et l’Espagnol Ion Izagirre (Astana).   1. Côté français, en dehors bien sûr de la victoire et de la confirmation au plus haut niveau de D. Gaudu, relevons la 7é place de G. Martin, de nouveau dans un top 10, seulement 7é car sans doute émoussé par ses échappées quasi quotidiennes dans sa lutte pour le maillot à pois et aussi par sa longue saison… Dorian Godon 13é de cette difficile étape finale, cela indique aussi les progrés et les capacités de récupération d’un coureur complet, capable de briller dans les courses par étapes.
