Le coureur 28 ans, récent vainqueur d’étape sur le Tour d’Allemagne a devancé le Néerlandais Dylan Groenewegen (Team BikeExchange-Jayco) et le Belge Amaury Capiot (Team Arkéa Samsic) classés respectivement aux 2e et 3e places. Jason Tesson (St Michel-Auber93) termine 5e du sprint et premier Français ce qui lui permet de marquer de précieux points au classement de la Coupe de France de cyclisme.
